Most plascera® products are subject to thermal loads of some extent. They have been devised in order to resist to high temperatures, rapid temperature changes (thermal shock) or temperature differences in the component (temperature gradient).

| Besides thermal loads, mechanical and chemical loads (corrosion) also play a role, no matter what the application. Mechanical loads are strongly related to the installation position (i.e., horizontal or vertical) and the function of the component (thermal insulation, load-bearing component, etc.). Our engineering and design departments design components to ideally meet the customer's specific load. |
