plascerm® is a metal reinforced PlasmaCeramic which is produced as a multilayer structure. This purposeful combination of ceramic and metal offers the benefits of PlasmaCeramic, i.e., resistance to wear, corrosion, thermal change, and high temperature while at the same time the integral metal layer(s) give(s) the composite material additional mechanical strength, ductility and crack resistance.

Another benefit of plascerm® is its ability to be welded onto steel components such as flanges.

In combination with various plastic tubes, our ceramic is a product which is harder and offers higher temperature stability.
