Protection against wear
	As a wear protection for steel or nonferrous metals, we recommend our plasdia® and plasmet®, plasbor® and plascrom® products. In addition to wear being a major issue, corrosion and thermal loads often come into play. Chemical attack (corrosion) arises mainly from liquids and solid materials. Gas corrosion is rather rare. The degree of thermal resistance depends on the actual application and can widely vary: • 300 °C for general purpose plasdia® / plasmet® coatings • 800 °C for special plasdia® / plasmet® coatings • 500 °C for plasbor® • 800 °C for plascrom®
